Does Stop and Shop Blow Up Balloons? Yes Stop and Shop does inflate balloons for their customers. It is free to blow up helium balloons at Stop and Shop, so there is no additional cost to the customer. The balloon department is located within the floral department of every Stop and Shop.
How Much Does Stop and Shop Charge To Blow Up Balloons?
Stop and Shop does not charge any additional fees to fill up balloons in their stores. In other words, it is free to fill up balloons at Stop and Shop. With the purchase of a balloon, Stop and Shop includes the inflating service too. So, as long as you buy the balloon in their store, filling up a balloon with helium is free of charge.
While this may come as a surprise, there are many grocery stores that do not charge additional fees for filling up balloons in their stores. Places like Publix and Safeway also do not charge any additional fees if you want to inflate balloons that were purchased in their stores.

Once you purchase these balloons at Stop and Shop, you can inflate them for free. So, if you are on a budget, it may be worth it to pick up a few $0.99 balloons and inflate them in the store.
