How Much Does Safeway Charge To Blow Up Balloons

The cost of blowing up a balloon at Safeway is dependent on if you are purchasing the balloon in store, or if you are bringing one of your own balloons to the store. If you buy balloons in store, Safeway does not charge you any extra fees to inflate them. This means you will only pay for the cost of the actual balloon, rather than paying additional for the helium.

Most other grocery stores like Kroger or Shoprite do not charge any additional fees to blow up balloons, so this is pretty common amongst other places too.

Will Safeway Fill Up Balloons That Aren’t Purchased In The Store?

This means that if you have balloons at home that you want to get inflated at Safeway, you won’t be able to do it for free. Depending on the size of the balloon, Safeway charges different prices.

For small balloons (anything 18 inches or smaller), Safeway charges $2 per balloon to fill with helium. For medium sized balloons, they will charge $4 per balloon. And any large balloon that needs to get inflated with helium will cost around $10 each. The size pricing is the same for both latex and mylar balloons.
